Timothy Porter is a designer, illustrator and resident artist at the Downriver council of the arts. Porter's early career focused on Design and illustration for Sony, Tide and ESPN to name a few. His work has been recognized with numerous Addy and IABC Awards. Porter has recently begun to focus on his fine art, creating whimsical acrylic and watercolor paintings. In 2014 his work was included in the internationally recognized Art Prize held in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Porter holds degrees from both the Art Institute of Pittsburgh for Illustration and Shepherd University for Graphic Design and printmaking.
